QITAI Team Building Trip to Zengcheng, Guangzhou: Two Days of Joy and Togetherness
Amid the hustle of daily work, we all long for a trip to unwind and recharge. On September 13–14, QITAI Technology organized just that — a wonderful two-day, one-night team building journey to Zengcheng, Guangzhou.
Setting Off with Excitement
At 8:30 AM on September 13th, everyone gathered on time with high spirits and boarded the coach to Zengcheng. Laughter and chatter filled the bus as colleagues, usually buried in work, finally let loose and enjoyed the ride.
Dafengmen Rafting: Thrills and Cool Waters
After arriving and enjoying a hearty lunch, we eagerly headed to Dafengmen Rafting. Located within the Baishui Village Scenic Area in Zengcheng, the site boasts pristine natural surroundings, fresh air, and exceptionally high negative ion levels — a true natural oxygen bar gifted by nature.
Geared up in professional rafting equipment, we hopped into rubber boats and set off on the thrilling ride. The river wound through the landscape — calm in stretches where we admired the misty peaks and lush greenery like a living landscape painting, and rushing in others where the boats surged forward, sending up splashes and filling the valley with screams and laughter.
Teamwork shone throughout. The moment our boat hit the shallows, a surprise splash ignited an all-out water fight. Some wielded ladles with precision, others swept up waves with their hands, and even the quietest colleagues joined in with water bottles. Water flew everywhere, laughter echoed across the river — no sides, no scores, just pure joy.
Soaked clothes and smiling faces became the most vivid memory of the day. The rafting not only melted away work stress but also deepened trust and camaraderie among the team.
Hehui Hot Spring Hotel: Relaxation and Warmth
After the excitement of rafting, we checked into Hehui Hot Spring Hotel. Nestled among green hills and peaks, the hotel offered a perfect escape from the city — tranquil, free, and close to nature.
After settling in, everyone gathered at the buffet restaurant. A wide spread of delicious dishes had everyone's eyes lighting up. Over food and drinks, we shared the day's highlights and laughed together in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
After dinner came the long-awaited hot spring experience. The outdoor hot spring pools are themed around the Taoist Five Elements, with formulas inspired by imperial herbal recipes. With 21 specialty soaking pools, plus indoor hot and cold wellness pools and steam rooms, the experience was deeply restorative. Soaking in the warm waters, we felt the fatigue of the day slowly dissolve. Conversations flowed freely between pools, bringing colleagues closer together.
Boating and Grape Picking: A Fresh Day of Fun
On the morning of September 14th, after a delicious breakfast buffet, we kicked off a new day of activities. First up was boating — we split into groups and glided across a serene lake. Sunlight danced on the water's surface as we rowed together, each team working in sync toward a shared goal, embodying the spirit of collaboration.
Next, we visited a vineyard for a grape-picking experience. Clusters of plump, fragrant grapes hung from every vine. We wandered through the rows, carefully selecting the finest bunches, picking them by hand and tasting them on the spot — sweet, fresh, and deeply satisfying. It was a joyful reminder of the rewards of hands-on effort.
Farm Lunch: A Perfect Ending
After the vineyard, we gathered at a local farmhouse for our final team lunch. The menu featured fresh, home-style country dishes — simple, wholesome, and full of flavor. Seated together, we savored the food and reflected on the two days we had shared — the laughter, the challenges, and the unforgettable moments.
As we made our way home, tired but deeply content, every face wore a smile. This two-day team building trip to Zengcheng not only refreshed our minds and bodies but also strengthened our unity and sense of belonging. We return to work with renewed energy, greater cohesion, and the motivation to take on new challenges and achieve even greater results together.
